FETAC Level 4

Purpose: To provide participants with an introductory understanding of practical security duties and procedures particularly those working in mainstream and retail security. Satisfactory completion of this course meets with the licensing requirements of the security industry induction training within the Guarding Services Standard IS999:2004.
This is the mandatory training requirement if you are applying to The Private Security Authority for a licence to work in any of the following:
- Retail Security
- Event Security (not liquor-licensed premises)
- Airport Security
- Hospital Security
- Building Site / Construction Security

A Proof of Training letter will be presented to you on completion of the course. You must send this letter with your P.S.A. Licence Application, Garda Vetting Application (form GVA), and the appropriate fee to the Private Security Authority, Davis Street, Tipperary Town.
